Speaking Engagement Travel Policy

Thank you for your interest in hosting a David Dolce Healing speaking engagement. To ensure a smooth and successful experience for both the event organizer and speaker, the following travel policy applies to all in-person engagements.

Local Engagements

Events within 50 miles of the speaker’s home or designated travel location are included in the standard speaking fee. No additional travel expenses will be charged.

Regional Travel

For engagements beyond 50 miles that can reasonably be completed by personal vehicle, the following will apply:

·       Mileage reimbursement at the current IRS standard business mileage rate, or reimbursement for actual fuel and toll expenses, as agreed in advance.

·       Parking fees, if applicable.

·       Overnight lodging may be required for early morning or multi-day events.

Air Travel

For engagements requiring air travel, the event organizer is responsible for:

·       Round-trip economy airfare.

·       Hotel accommodations at a clean, reputable hotel located near the event venue.

·       Ground transportation, including airport transfers, rideshare, rental car, or mileage reimbursement when applicable.

·       Reasonable baggage fees related to presentation materials.

Lodging

When overnight accommodations are required, the organizer will provide or reimburse:

·       Hotel accommodations for the duration of the event.

·       Check-in the evening before an early morning engagement when necessary.

·       Additional nights if required by the event schedule or travel availability.

Meals

For travel requiring overnight accommodations, reasonable meal expenses during travel days may be reimbursed or provided by the event organizer.

Multi-Day Events

For conferences, retreats, or workshops lasting multiple days, travel expenses are calculated based on the full event schedule and any required preparation or setup days.

Booking and Deposits

A signed speaking agreement is required to confirm all engagements.

Unless otherwise agreed:

·       A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking to reserve the event date.

·       The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event.

·       Travel expenses, if not prepaid by the organizer, will be invoiced according to the terms outlined in the speaking agreement.

Event Changes and Cancellations

If the event is rescheduled, every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the new date.

Any non-refundable travel expenses already incurred—including airfare, lodging, or transportation reservations—remain the responsibility of the event organizer.

Every event is unique. David Dolce Healing is committed to working with organizers to develop travel arrangements that are practical, transparent, and mutually beneficial.
